"When acclaimed, multi-genre drummer and producer Daru Jones dropped by Sweetwater to give us a firsthand look at his latest New Yorker II signature kit from PDP, we thought it might be fun to see how other drummers would fare with his distinctive drum set. As it turns out, Daru agreed, along with his nephew and fellow drummer, Quavo Anderson. Though we couldn’t get everyone Keith Haring–printed jumpsuits and bucket hats to match Daru’s threads, we decided to gather a handful of Sweetwater’s employee drummers in our renowned Studio A to take Daru’s kit for a spin and give their reactions." -Sweetwater
