NEWS: DARU & RENA FEATURED ON KEVINNOTTINGHAM.COM
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard a new project from drummer, beatmaker Daru Jones. After all he’s been quite busy as one of the go to drummers touring with the likes of Jack White of The White Stripes, Talib Kweli and many more. So I was excited to hear that not only is he preparing for a new EP, but it’s also a collaboration with his sister, singer Rena, of whom we also haven’t heard from in a while. Recently he released two tracks from their upcoming “Honey EP” and if these two tracks are representation of the whole project, we are in for a treat.
